Double Finalist Recognition in Festival Supplier Awards
We are delighted to have been shortlisted for two awards in one of the events industry’s most prestigious awards scheme, the Festival Supplier Awards. Now in their eighth year, the awards are designed to recognise, reward and promote best practice in the outdoor event and festival sector.
Electric Wheels is a finalist in two categories:
The New Product/Service of the Year Award, which recognises the positive impact a new product or service has had on the outdoor event industry. Electric Wheels has been shortlisted for introducing the 4WD electric UTV ‘The Nipper’. This versatile, nimble and hard-wearing buggy has been a game-changer for festivals seeking to reduce their carbon footprint by adopting electric on-site utility vehicles, but who may have worried that such a compact electric vehicle would not be up to the job, especially on muddy and uneven event venues.
Best Plant and Equipment Hire, which recognises product innovation, sustainability initiatives, and excellent service in hiring plant and equipment to the outdoor events industry.
Director, Chris Hurdle said, “Our latest award recognition tops off what has been an extremely successful year for the business and follows our finalist position as Green Supplier of the year at the at the Showmans Show Awards. We’re privileged to have supplied a number of high-profile festivals this year, helping them to reduce their carbon footprint across the large sites they manage. With bookings already nearing capacity for 2023, we’ve added additional hire vehicles to the fleet to cope with demand. The fantastic feedback we’ve received from the industry is testament to our vehicles excellent performance and the team’s focus on customer service.”
The awards are judged by an esteemed panel of high profile industry experts with the winners announced at a ceremony at the exclusive Hurlingham Club in London at the end of January.
